I have managed to see 151 of them.

Most have stayed with me in my mind for one reason or another. A couple of them (at least) have also been documented on this very blog.

It’s worth noting that Letterboxd’s list excludes documentaries of any kind, recut films, films of theatre or stage shows, or TV shows (though TV movies are included, but not many of them). To qualify, films must be at least 40 minutes in length.

There’s a handful of the choices that I strenuously disagree that they should be here, i.e. I have seen them and really didn’t like them and/or do not think they are among the greatest films ever made.
